He Who Moves a Mountain Begins by First Moving Small Stones

“The man who moves a mountain begins by first moving small stones.” Confusious

Everyone needs to remember that Rome wasn’t built in a day and that even a monumental task such as moving a mountain begins in the same simple way of first moving a few stones even pebbles. At the end of the day no task in moving towards a goal is too minute or insignificant. A person has to be committed towards his/her goal. Once one has decided that they are all in on a task to reach a goal he/she needs to realize that no aspect is beneath them. Even huge goals begin by first accomplishing a few small tasks. It is easy to desire lofty goals, but maybe not always evident in the ways that an individual goes about beginning to go about moving towards the goal. A person who wants to try and get back to walking, needs to keep the prospective that it will take time to accomplish. A dedicated team of therapists and doctors work together to attempt to motivate people as they work towards their goal. It does not all happen at once and it may take many months or even perhaps years for a person to accomplish the goal at hand. All movement towards a goal is progress. Goal accomplishment always begins by getting the correct state of mind. A healthy state of mind is one where a person will not be disheartened by slow progress in the beginning. Any great accomplishment began first with a glimmer of an idea and the commitment of a person towards it. Distractions and things that may take your focus away from your goal will always come. A person has to be completely committed to their ambition and not allow things to draw their focus away. This is certainly easier said than done and there will always be many things that may distract you and take your focus away from your goal. I think that a person must always try and remember what they are capable of. Self-reflection and meditation is a fantastic way for a person to remain focused on the task at hand. A person has to first make the decision to try something. The most difficult decision is the decision to try. Once the decision to try has been made one has to continue to persevere and truly live his/her commitment to accomplishing that goal. People are always more pleasant to be around when they themselves are self-motivated towards an objective. I think that people need to remember this as they are proceeding forward. There is always another objective to move towards and people need to focus on setting their sights on a singular one at a time. It is always easier to first begin moving towards a goal by starting small. I thank you very much for reading and would love to hear any thoughts that you may have.
